You prayed to be delivered and used by God.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post. I pray something written will assist you in fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
To answer the questions above, we must first consider the day you and I prayed for God to deliver us out of a situation. Yes, we offered in exchange our services to God.
You remember:
“Lord God, if You deliver me from this, I will….”
Drink from the Bitter cup.
This is where things get complicated! Many are saying, “I never agreed to drink from the bitter cup.” The "I will...." is being called in for fulfillment. Only those who will honor their agreement to accept and endure the unpleasant treatment that Jesus did are capable of understanding the message given in this Blog.
“Is that you?”
I open the invitation to you, the reader, to make that decision today, but I caution you to count the cost first. In the Old Testament - we learn of a Drink Offering, meaning the pouring out of wine - which was bitter (in taste). However, to consume the drink offering of LIBATION meant you have entered a place God has predestined and ordained. Signifying the agreement has been fulfilled by entering a covenant relationship with God.
Jesus said, “this is my blood of the New Covenant.”
27 And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, Drink of it, all of you;
28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which [[f]ratifies the agreement and] is [g]being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:27-28 AMP)
Why is this happening? I am so FRUSTRATED!!!
The enemy of God has taken notice of you deciding not to stay entangled in his world system. Satan [himself] is battling hard to intimidate, seduce, deceive, and manipulate you by his works.
Why now? Could not have been at the worst time!!!
The short answer is you are entering a New Place with New Responsibilities in Christ Jesus. Nothing is more frustrating than doing what you believe is right and having people oppose and accuse you of your past sins.
“Freedom is a decision made that is worth enduring being hated and mistreated.”
Being baptized by Fire.
I know, you never said this either, right??? The truth is we have all, at one time or the other, surrendered to God - AT SOME POINT!
The issue is we only surrender a portion of ourselves to satisfy the believed requirement for relief. In this case, being baptized by fire means fully submerged in God (the Consuming Fire) that purges us of all filthiness. No more giving the believed portion, but the whole. The thing is, this process is painful to the flesh (our carnal mind and sin-nature).
At this point, it is no longer Satan causing you pain, but God removing all the ungodliness.
PAINFUL!
“Are you willing to offer your carnal mind and sin-nature as a sacrifice?”
In the old testament, burnt offerings were for making an Atonement for wrongdoings. [Our focus] Jesus is our Atonement. He addressed our sins once and for all - where we no longer have to sacrifice sheep, goats, and the like. Our souls and spirits have been redeemed by the Blood. Now we are to be liberated from the attraction of curses (our sin-nature).
“When you are tired of getting nothing for your suffering.”
It is a decision that only you can make. There will be pain. Pain is unavoidable when you are detaching from soul-ties and old ways.
Why is this happening?
You are experiencing birth pains. The moment is near where we are born by God’s Will and not mommy and daddy's. God is a consuming FIRE that burns away the fleshly or worldly mindsets and evil ways. God's Hands are transforming us into the image of His Son Jesus.
Why right now?
The timing of this occurrence is impeccable because when it happens - it indicates our deliverance or breakthrough is near. The labor pains become more intense as deliverance grows nearer. There will be pain when you abort or deliver. We all are pregnant with purpose. It is our choice what happens next!!!
So, we are left with making the decision:
“Suffer for being wicked or being righteous?”
Don’t allow the mistreatment or pain of being purged to cause you to abort from pursuing God's purpose for your life through Jesus! Be encouraged. After deliverance, REST is given to those who Endure and Overcome. Peace. God has promised.
